ARTS IN ACTION 2010: Where Theater & Art Inspire the Young:  A camp that combines Theater & Art for a fun packed summer at Saint Mark’s School in San Rafael.  Incoming 1st-4th graders will enjoy Dramatic Arts by showcasing a special production of “The Wiz”.  Follow Dorothy’s adventures in the Land of Oz.  Enjoy acting and singing to this award winning musical.  Visual Arts compliment the musical with set designing, costume making, and creating props.  Ceramics, painting, tie-dyeing and candle making will also be offered as special individual projects.  ARTS in ACTION will have a special Water Fun Day & lunch program option too.  Session I:  Tues. MARIN YOUTH ACCELERATED MUSIC PROGRAMS (MYAMP) August Rock Music Camps Now Available! August 3-7  & August 9-14.Limited Enrollment for Drums, Guitar, Bass & Keyboard Players Musicians ages 8-18, of all ability levels, are placed in a band with their peers.  The band meets every day for 3 hour practice sessions (1pm to 4pm), and works to compose an original song and develop a set of cover tunes.  At the end of the week, the band records an album at Renegade studios, complete with all of the songs from that week.  $400 per week. All band members walk away on Friday with a copy of the band's album in hand.
