Coastal Camp

Would you like to go on hikes to all sorts
of crazy old bunkers and places like Pt.
Bonita Lighthouse and Rodeo Beach eating yummy snacks
like pizza bagels and tuna fish sandwiches along the way as you go? We
hiked away on single track trails with beautiful views of the San Francisco
Bay and beyond. We stop in the middle to have our delicious lunch prepared
by the chefs at Coastal Camp.We learn about wildlife, plants and
marine life; we study birds and look at them through binoculars. I learned
that sea stars (starfish) do not have a mouth but have a hole in the bottom
middle of their body that their stomach protrudes from and engulfs
its prey with digestive juices, turning the prey into a slurpee soup-like
food that it can consume. Now that’s amazing!
Oh, and if you’re good, for dessert, you get a steaming hot chocolate chip
cookie!
