Blue Star Music Camp

first came to Blue Star Music Camp when I was thirteen years old. I
was just beginning to explore some different musical genres and experiment
with different instruments. From the very first day of camp, I
could tell it was a good match for me, particularly because the staff was
so supportive of young songwriters. It offered a crash-course in both theory
and performance, and invited students to look at both aspects of musicianship
as equally important. Seven years later, I still work closely with Blue Star
Music Camp, only now I'm the one passing along the knowledge I learned
from the wonderful teachers I had years ago. I keep the Blue Star family close
to my heart and continue to use the inspiring lessons from all those summers
in my career as a musician and performer. |
